Packers Experience: A Day Of Daniels Family Fun!

Today, I managed to get the kiddos out to the Packers experience!! We had so much fun, even though it was extremely hot. Upon our arrival, a thunderstorm was passing through so we had to go inside for a while. In my mind I was thinking, of course it would be the day that I made it out the house looking presentable, and all of my kids in tow… that the weather would act up and delay our fun at Lambeau. However, it allowed us time to grab stadium food: hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries, gatorade, coke, cotton candy… you know, the essentials haha, use the bathroom and pick up some cool free draw string bags! (We love free stuff lol).

After the weather cleared, we went out to see what all the excitement was about. We had been hearing really great things about the activities etc., so we were looking forward to coming out and experiencing everything!

The activities/drills weren’t exactly kid friendly, but my kiddos really really had an amazing time! My boys are totally in love with football, and aspire to play professionally one day. They put their all into those drills today, and my daughter made sure to jump in on the action as well! I love seeing them get so focused one each task/drill, while still smiling, laughing and being silly.

The training camp, punt return, locker room reenactment and the slant pass were definitely favorites! I even tried my skills out on a few drills; it definitely wasn’t pretty or graceful. With five weeks left in this pregnancy ( #4), it was less than pretty to say the least LOL. I did complete a catch though which I’m still pretty pumped about!

You can check that out on my instagram- feel free to “like,” that post!

One of my favorite parts about today… Was my kiddos being able to see images of their poppa on site. I just find it inspiring to them; they get so excited saying “that’s my poppa, that’s my poppa!”

There were life size cut outs of him, video footage from him on game days & “his locker,” where the kiddos & myself were able to snag some pics for our memory books!

We definitely sweated almost the entire time! It was so warm out today, but we stayed hydrated ($27 on waters & $50 on food/drinks) and made our way into the a/c twice or three times so that we could regroup and make our way through all the activities!

It was worth it!! We all left happy, and tired which made for a chill evening after baths of relaxing and enjoying our favorite guy on the last part of his off day, before returning to the dorms.

We have yet to make it to a training camp practice this year, BUT… we will! I’m still mentally preparing for the chaos of it all, lol.

Until next time …

Go Pack, Go!
