Distressed Jeggings, Yes Please!

Distressed jeggings, yes please! And for those of you who don’t know what they are, jeans +leggings = jeggings

If you’re anything like me, jeans are usually the last type of pants I want to throw on. I am a total fan of anything stretchy… ya know, the “good stuff,” that slides right on up & over the thick thighs & bum… providing a little tucking and slimming action at the same time. Yuppers, I am all about clothing that contains the mommy jiggles, lol.

Lucky for me, I found these jeggings that not only are extremely comfortable & flattering, but also completely stylish and affordable. I happened to find these particular jeggings in a local beauty supply store. You never know where you’ll find unique pieces to add to your wardrobe. Name brand isn’t everything, and neither is spending a lot of money. It’s all about how you put your outfits together. Don’t be afraid to shop around, check the clearance/discount racks, look in the thrift stores, or even shop in stores you normally wouldn’t even consider going in. You never know what you may find!

The distress look gives it that denim flare but without the discomfort of a stiff leg pant, and the wash of them also gives off a vintage vibe which can be dressed up or down.

Switching the shoes from little bootie heels, and the shirt to a hoody with a jean or camo jacket over it completely changes the entire look and feel of the outfit. I don’t know about y’all, but I love having pieces in my wardrobe that can be dressed up or down.

Let’s not forget about patterns. Stripes are one of my favorite, & contrary to what everyone says, can actually be very flattering if done right! Mixing and matching patterns can also be fun!

If you’re not quite daring yet, a fun way to incorporate multiple patterns is by having a pattern that you’re wearing that’s less visible or not seen all the time like I did by rocking my cheetah printed lined trench peacoat.

Last but not least, makeup and hair are always a major part of your overall look. Check out the products below, to see how I completed this simple outfit & gave it some flare.
